There is ALWAYS a denim quilt in my car. They are perfect for throwing on the ground for impromptu picnics, and their weight makes them wonderfully warm if someone gets chilly on a road trip. But truly, they can just as easily be kept indoors - both my mother and my son sleep with one on their beds. Come learn to make one of two styles of denim rag quilt for yourself - either a traditional patchwork version or a faux cathedral windows version. Each can be made as big or as small as you desire and is a quilt-as-you-go design, so once the top is finished, the quilt is finished - no need to send out to a long-arm quilter! Participants are free to use shop equipment and donated fabric, but must provide their own denim.
